Alexander McQueen is a quintessential British label, committed to an edgy elegance and sharp tailoring. Since Sarah Burton, Lee's long-term assistant designer, took over in 2010, the brand has developed a sharp and coherent menswear aesthetic. McQueen is known and loved for its decadent take on fashion, creating outfits steeped in history, often with hints of army regalia and military uniforms. Burton's sartorial craftsmanship and impeccable style means Alexander McQueen is now a flag bearer for British menswear traditions and skills.
Across the globe, stylish men are clad, draped and kitted out in Alexander McQueen. The style is universal, as these images show. How do you wear it?

This season is focused on sharp silk tailoring with rich and graphic patterns. This collection is less about 19th century military uniforms and more about a 21st century dapper cad look. Stand out pieces include a black evening jacket with white silk lapel, that was a collaboration with Savile Row tailors Huntsman and the patchwork gold jacquard suit and coats with embroidered dragonflies. Sarah Burton once again found the perfect balance between conceptual fantasy and wearable elegance.
“I WANTED US TO ASK OURSELVES WHAT WE WANTED THE MCQUEEN MAN TO BUY AND TO WEAR. AND WE KNOW HE IS SOMEONE WHO IS STRONG, CONFIDENT AND KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS - HE WANTS TO BE POLISHED AND TO HAVE A BEAUTIFULLY CUT SUIT IN VERY SPECIAL FABRIC.”
