Platform is our social responsibility programme that contributes to the global creative community, providing a “platform” for both new and emerging talent and businesses, nurturing and growing the next generation of creative leaders.
As part of our dedication to identify, nurture and grow the industry’s future Chinese design talents and creative innovators, we have partnered with local and international colleges to establish scholarships and mentoring programmes for exceptional creative talent that has demonstrated the potential to be a successful professional designer or communicator in Womenswear, Menswear, Knitwear, Textiles or Fashion Journalism.
“I graduated from CSM BA Womenswear course in June. Prior to my studies in CSM, I had finished a Finance degree in China. However, my passion has always been about fashion, and I decided to pursue my dream in the world’s leading fashion school. The road to success came through hard work and determination. I had to teach myself as much fashion knowledge as possible and practice as many technical skills as I could. Eventually, CSM offered me a position in its BA fashion course.”

To ensure the connection within the global creative industry and our local community continues to grow, Lane Crawford works with emerging talent and creative businesses on a seasonal basis for in store highlights, product collaborations, editorial features, exhibitions and event animation. Through Platform, we
help small businesses grow by giving them space, exposure and financial support.
Lane Crawford has worked with over 40 creatives and businesses to support their growth and development in 2013/14.
