This Autumn Winter, creative director Sarah Burton took inspiration from Thomas Hardy’s 19th-century novel Far From The Madding Crowd, giving the collection a distinct military theme. The frock-coat silhouette perfectly expresses the contemporary take on the aesthetic: sharp tailoring softened with spliced floral detailing and romantic ruffles and peplums.
