The hotly anticipated denim line from the master of downtown cool, Denim x Alexander Wang is finally here. Denim is the perfect partner for Wang’s inimitable off-duty model aesthetic and a natural evolution for the designer, whose eponymous collections embody the contemporary urban uniform.

“Denim is very personal to me, as I – as well as a lot of people around me – wear it as part of my everyday wardrobe. A lot of my girlfriends alter non-stretch vintage denim jeans; we wanted to translate that genuine sensibility, but evolve and tweak the fit, to make it more feminine,” says Wang.

The result is a tight collection dedicated to authentic denim that takes its starting point from genuine denim made from heavy-weight, high-ridge structured twill to create a crisp, sturdy and dry hand, with a modernized fit.

The line launches with three core styles including WANG 001, a slim fit with minimal stretch and slightly loosened at the knee and ankle; WANG 002, a relaxed style that is a modern take on classic men’s jeans, fitted and treated for a woman’s body and WANG 003, a boy fit with a masculine feel that is balanced with a tapered leg.
