At Bimbo Casa, we believe in bringing the magic of nature into children’s lives through thoughtfully designed, inspiring playthings that nurture imagination and a deep connection with the environment. This Christmas, we aim to create a festive atmosphere where children can explore, create, and dream with our charming ornaments, stockings, and accessories inspired by winter forests and iconic landmarks.

In your own home, which piece became the family’s “story starter,” and what specific moment or memory makes it unforgettable?
At our home, the tulip sofa was the one that became our family’s story starter. This is where we spend our evening sitting together to have our story time and watch movies together on the weekend.

How do your designs grow with a child—from toddler to early reader—to build independence, imagination, and tidy habits while keeping the space beautiful?

Our designs are inspired by nature and animals, combining high-quality craftsmanship with aesthetics and sustainability. They encourage children to explore their creativity and develop skills in a safe, inspiring environment. We pay meticulous attention to detail, from material selection to finishing touches. For example, our Tulip sofa, armchairs, and silicone mealtime ware are crafted with care to foster independence, all while maintaining a beautiful, harmonious space that grows with the child.
Why is this the right piece to bring home now for the holiday season, and what “first-week” joy should parents expect to see their child experience?
Our cosy family pajamas, made from the softest organic cotton and embroidered with charming owls, are perfect for creating warm, memorable holiday moments. Customisable with names or initials, they add a personal touch. During the first week, parents can expect to see their children light up with joy, feeling the warmth and togetherness that come from wearing matching, high-quality pajamas during festive celebrations.

For the Lane Crawford pop-up, if a parent can choose only one piece that could be the “big Christmas morning surprise” for their child, which would you recommend and why—for both play value and the room’s aesthetic?
“I would recommend our animal rugs. Made from soft, durable New Zealand wool, they feature majestic animals such as lions, tigers, cheetahs, pandas, and Polo Bears.”
