“The corset lacing refers to sportswear details; the idea is trying to put together elements that are not supposed work together, and re-edit them with visual impact,” says the Melbourne dwelling Chinese designer, Chris Ran Lin. The upshot is a series of bold sweaters and sweater dresses in navy and sherbet pink with lacing (ideal over a slip dress); sculpted knits and outsize coats that you can sling on over anything. “Do not be anyone else, be yourself - this is my main fashion ethos,” says Lin.
