Five Step BeautyThe Interview LookPut your best face forward
Makeup by Kalam Chu
Interviewing for your dream job? Aside from presenting a polished resume, presenting a polished beauty look that puts your best face forward is as important - without distracting from what you have to say. Cue heathy, natural skin, a sweep of eyeliner and a classic lip colour.
Step one
Warm moisturiser in the palm of your hands and smooth onto the skin to boost hydration.
Using a contouring palette and brush, apply the darker shade to areas needing definition - namely the hollows of your cheeks, temples and jaw line. Blend thoroughly. Apply a lighter shade on places where light naturally hits: cheekbones, down your nose, your lip’s cupid bow and brow bone.
Using a liquid eyeliner, line the outer quarter of your upper lash line in short strokes while looking straight ahead. Line the rest of the upper lash line, working from the outside in. Move onto the lower waterline and work from the inside outwards in short, steady strokes. Stop when the lines join together.
