Often hailed as the future of fashion, Belgian designer Raf Simons has brought a luxurious, minimalist touch to the illustrious French fashion house Christian Dior since his tenure as creative director. With a background in architecture and furniture design, Simons unveils his first collection of home textiles, developed in collaboration with the cutting edge Danish fabric company Kvadrat.

Kvadrat’s textiles feature in landmark buildings worldwide, from the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao to the Guangzhou Opera House and this exclusive collection of fabrics exudes a refined, artisanal elegance innate to both creative powerhouses. Simons focused on twill, a traditional weave used in tweed and denim, combining it with different yarn qualities to create depth and a palette of striking colours.

Bringing the innovative blending of colour and materials for which Simons is known in fashion, to the home, Lane Crawford has commissioned a series of exclusive Egg Chairs by Fritz Hansen, upholstered in Kvadrat/Raf Simons textiles.
