FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- I am not a resident of Hong Kong or China and founded my company overseas. Am I eligible to apply?
You are only eligible to apply if your company is registered in Hong Kong and/or China. You must be able to provide a copy of your Business Registration at the time of applying to qualify. Please refer to the Criteria for more information. - How many rounds of judging are there?
Applications will be screened and shortlisted candidates will be asked to meet our buyers and a guest panel of judges to pitch their products and portfolio on April 6 in Hong Kong and April 8 in Shanghai, and final winners will be then be selected. - How and when will I know if I have been selected to attend the judging session?
Candidates that have been selected to join the judging session will be notified via email by April 1. - What if I have been selected to attend the judging session but I am based overseas?
Shortlisted candidates must meet and pitch to the judges in Hong Kong or China. No other mode of judging is accepted. - How much time are applicants given to pitch?
Shortlisted candidates will be given up to 15 minutes to pitch to our buyers. - Will there be display tools on the day of judging?
Lane Crawford can only provide rails for fashion designers and brands. Shortlisted candidates are responsible for ensuring they have all other necessary tools – such as hangers – to display their work. - How and when will I know if I’ve been named a winner?
Winners will be notified via email by May 2016.
