Not made for wallflowers, this season sees designers dabbling in rainbow palettes, bohemian tie-dye prints and nature-inspired motifs. But while the colourful, bohemian mash-up has splashed across clothing of all kinds, it’s the shoes and handbags that have really stood out to us for their playfully optimistic ‘peacocking’ abilities.
Calling our names the loudest? Playfully fringed bags shaped like beautiful birds at Oscar de la Renta, feathered slides in sunrise shades at Dries Van Noten, and sneakers coated with candy-coloured clouds of paint at Stella McCartney.
