Mixing inspirations from workwear, sports, military and American classics, the brand presents a modern authentic style that’s smart-casual and down-to-earth, yet tailored and finessed.
Led by director Kenichi “Kenny” Kusano, who joined BEAMS in 1996 and moved to the BEAMS PLUS division in 1999, the latest collection indulges in Harris tweed, tartan plaids, polyester wool, high-gauge jacquard, chunky knits, cashmere wool and Gore-Tex® coats. Unexpected mis-matching and Tokyo-style layering are key, as is a laid-back attitude and whimsical approach.
