Get the foundation to anything correctly in place, and the rest will follow easily. This is true for life - and beauty. Nail the perfect base first, and build your own dream makeup look from there.
Here, we show you the steps to a flawless, long-lasting foundation.
Melt primer in the palms of your hands, and smooth onto the skin to create a long-lasting finish. Make sure not to miss any small areas, such as around your nose and mouth.
Dab a thin layer of foundation with a brush on areas that need imperfection concealing, generally eyes, cheeks, t-zone and around the nose and mouth.
Blend with the brush lightly, horizontally out from the nose to the hairline, breaking the brush strokes by sweeping the foundation brush vertically.
Warm up a small amount of concealer on your hand using your ring finger. Dab concealer on the under-eye area with your ring finger tip, making sure not to go to close to the lash lines. Apply the remaining concealer with a small concealer brush.
Dip a powder brush into loose face powder and tap off the excess. Gently press the powder on your face, starting from your jawline and working upwards.
Touch up extra face powder with a sponge on areas which get oily easily during the day.
