For over 80 years, René Caovilla’s crystal-adorned heels have been adding glamour and opulence to women’s feet from the boardroom to the red carpet. The Italian brand’s finely crafted “semi-couture” shoes are rooted in the art of Venetian shoemaking, featuring signature glitter soles, handmade details and intricate embroidery.

The family brand has honed its skills over three generations, with founder René Caovilla designing shoes for the houses of Chanel and Dior in the 1950s. The house is now in the hands of René’s grandson Edoardo, and today, Caovilla’s creations are worn by an impressive celebrity fan base including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez.

This season, René Caovilla brings a touch of sparkle to Lane Crawford with the exclusive launch of the new Emmanuel collection. A brand new silhouette for the label; the Emmanuel pump is only available at Lane Crawford.

With the Emmanuel, the classic pump is transformed with typical René Caovilla flair. Each shoe is embellished with a crystal bow, adding a whimsical femininity. “I felt that the idea of creating a contemporary suede pump with the oversize Caovilla bow was an innovative approach for this collection and for the fashion-forward woman,” says Edoardo Caovilla.

Crafted in Italy out of luxurious suede, the shoes come in classic black, blush, nude, as well as two more vibrant shades – lilac and burnt red – just in time for summer. The elegant silhouette makes the shoes versatile, while the 70mm stiletto will lift, in more ways than one, even the most casual of weekend outfits. They are the pumps that keep on giving – and all tied up with a bow.
