Hearst’s latest bag collection will make its Asian debut at a two-week installation at Lane Crawford, and will feature the likes of the newly introduced Rafaela clutch or the highly-coveted Nina bag - without the wait. Inspired by female coal miners and women factory workers during World War I and II, she combines style with purpose: “My design had to have a utilitarian approach.”
Deeply inspired by her heritage and a slower-paced life, Hearst crafts thoughtful yet beautifully made fashion and accessory pieces that consider both the top-quality materials and authentic process behind them. The result is luxury with a conscience - clean, feminine silhouettes that are made to last.
“It is a family business,” she says of her strong core values that both her sustainable brand and personal lifestyle are founded upon. From using organic merino wool from her ranch, to working with small family-run manufacturers, to her favoured weekend time - “to feel transported”, whether watching movies with her three kids or reading a great book - her passions come from her heart.
