Colour Me PinkCue the (so-now) rosy-hued makeup of your dreams
Maybe it’s the way blushing shades flatter every flesh tone or maybe it’s the emboldening modern-day feminist movement, but our fixation with pink is still going strong.
Here, Lane Crawford shows you two so-now ways to paint a little more pink into your makeup routine.
Holographic Wash
How to use pink-toned holographic hues to create an out-of-this-world beauty look? First, take a creamy, shimmering eye colour and sweep it all the way up to your brow bones. Next, add a swipe of candied gloss to your pout and - finally - dust with face powder flecked with pearly reflective pigments. All in a flushed rosé hue, of course.
Get this oh-so-pretty barely there look by softly extending a sweep of pale pink blush further than your cheek apples - brushing the colour up as high as your temples. While the exaggerated sweep may seem dramatic, the light touch makes for an ultra-wearable finish. Pair with the glossiest, shell-pink lip balm and go.
