It’s starting to feel a lot like the holidays, courtesy of Jonathan Adler’s home décor and accessories. Lane Crawford visits the American designer in his New York office to talk gifting and Christmas.

“There’s always a collection in mind,” says the artist, designer and author as we take a peek into his pottery studio, filled with half-spun prototypes in a glorious array of colours and textures. “I’m in there all the time working with them so the stuff that you see them working on right now are these pots that I’m doing, with this new bronzey glaze that we developed. It’s a very exploratory process and we go through squillions of iterations before making the final piece. There’s new stuff happening all the time.”
